Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

• Drive: 36 km to Jankichatti ? 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple

• Darshan at Yamunotri (origin of Yamuna River)

• Return to Barkot

• Night Stay: Barkot

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (Gangotri Base)

• Distance: ~100 km / 5 hours

• Via: Dharasu Bend

• Night Stay: Uttarkashi

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

• Drive: 100 km (one way)

• Darshan at Gangotri Temple (origin of Ganga)

• Return to Uttarkashi

• Night Stay: Uttarkashi

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sitapur (Kedarnath Base)

• Distance: ~220 km / 8–9 hours

• Via: Tehri Dam, Rudraprayag

• Night Stay: Guptkashi / Sitapur

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (Trek or Helicopter)

• Drive to Sonprayag ? local jeep to Gaurikund

• 16 km trek to Kedarnath OR helicopter from Phata/Sersi

• Visit Kedarnath Temple (Jyotirlinga of Shiva)

• Night Stay: Kedarnath (GMVN camp/lodge)

Day 7: Kedarnath – Return to Guptkashi

• Early morning darshan

• Trek or fly back to Gaurikund ? Drive to Guptkashi

Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath

• Via: Chopta (Mini Switzerland), Joshimath

• Morning darshan, visit Mana Village (last Indian village)

• Via: Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi)
